big brother

Ian is handling his new role as a big brother very well. He loves his new siblings (so far) and spends lots of time kissing them and hugging them.

Ian is forming multi-word sentences and loves playing with his trains. Here are some pictures of Ian from our trip to Pumpkinland north of Orange City.

ian's 2nd birthday

Here are photos from Ian's 2nd birthday. The theme was Thomas the Tank Engine, of course. The bottom two photos are of Ian and I in our swimming pool with Ian's new race car floatie.

23 months

Wow, I haven't posted to this blog in quite a while. It might have something to do with our move to Orange City and Lisa's impending delivery of our twins! Ian is 23 months now. He has a fairly large vocabulary for an almost-two-year-old. He can count to 5 (sometimes) and loves his new pool.

17 months+ and on the run

Ian is 17 months+ and is becoming quite confident in his jabbering and his running around. He can tell you where your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth are. He can also tell you what sounds different animals make (sheep, cows, dogs, cats, horses, etc.).

Ian usually doesn't like wearing hats, but one night Ian decided he wanted to leave his Buena Vista stocking hat on.
